RateMyISP
People:
Albert O'Connor, Caroline Simpson, Colin Bell, Eric Gerlach, John Daly

Once again we are going to the coast of Lake Huron just north of Grand Bend for another 2 day creation experiment with a whole new project. RateMyISP aims to be the easiest way to share reviews of your ISP and find the best one in your area.

Heading up in June means for the first time swimming in the lake is a possibility. Swimming, camp fires and code.

Returning to the coast of Lake Huron just north of Grand Bend for another 2 day creation experiment with an even more diverse group of people. The focusing is on improving Active, a volunteer opportunity matching service.

Each developer will be working on a specific backend task while the design team collaborates on creating the kind of a frontend and user experience we want. All while the gas fireplace keeps us warm and the views inspire us.

Six people headed out to the coast of Lake Huron just north of Grand Bend for a 2 day creation experiment. Two people on the development team were learning Django nearly from scratch. The goal was to create a service where volunteers could find opportunities in their communities.

Once it was all over we had a site where people could sign up, create organizations, post opportunities and apply. There were details to work out and much polish needed, but we learned that working all weekend on a common goal surround by the beauty of Lake Huron is really a whole lot of fun. Beyond working we also enjoyed trips to the beach, camp fires, and delicious BBQ dinners.
